In a tweet on their official Twitter handle, Discord states that it will now support game status on PlayStation as well. Then basically, if you are playing a game on the PlayStation, it will show that as your status on Discord. This is already a feature on PC, and if you are playing say Rocket League on your PC, your Discord status will be highlighting the same.

Now, this has led many fans to believe that Sony has actually bought Discord. Because that we had 1 such proclamation earlier today, this seems to make a lot of sense. However, that is not the example at all. This is only a feature that Discord has added and it is in no style connected to Sony ownership Discord or anything.

To be able to apply the feature, players will need to go to User Settings in Discord and then connect with their PlayStation Network account nether the Connections tab. Players will need to login into their PlayStation business relationship and then qualify information technology. This will link your PSN account with Discord. Later on you have completed this procedure, whatever games you play on your PlayStation console will be shown on your Discord status. If for some reason you don't encounter the option, you should be able to get it pretty soon equally it is yet rolling out.
